Welcome to RAME Herbal Health.

Hello and welcome to the very first blog about Rame Herbal Health. I’m Michelle, a Medical Herbalist offering personalised herbal services to the vibrant communities of South East Cornwall and Plymouth.

My mission is to build a community of proactive individuals who are passionate about taking control of their well-being and exploring alternative approaches to current health concerns. My approach is rooted in the belief that true health is about more than just the absence of disease; it’s about promoting holistic wellness. I’m passionate about supporting people with safe, effective and personalised herbal care.

Monthly drop-in clinics offer free blood pressure checks and make acute, off the shelf, remedies accessible within local communities. I offer seasonal workshops and events with the sole aim to inspire and inform.

Treatment focuses on reconnection of mind and body, the restoration of well-being and building resilience to stress and dysfunction.

Journey and expertise

I am a proud member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and hold a first-class honours degree in Ethnobotany from Plymouth University. My training at Betonica School of Herbal Medicine includes four years of study in anatomy, physiology, pathology, biochemistry, pharmacology, nutrition and materia medica. I also studied clinical diagnostics and completed over 500 hours of supervised clinical practice. This grounding allows me to work confidently with plant medicine, even alongside conventional treatments. My practice combines evidence-based herbal medicine with a compassionate, personalised approach to wellbeing.

Rooted in Nature, Guided by Experience

Based in South East Cornwall, my practice integrates clinical herbal medicine with garden education and floristry. I believe that natural medicine should be both accessible and empowering, offering preventative support as well as relief from acute and chronic conditions.

My own experience navigating stress, fatigue, and anxiety led me to seek approaches that address the root causes of ill health, rather than simply managing symptoms. This journey informs my practice today: I love helping people connect with the healing power of plants and encourage active collaboration in the healing process.

Whether you’re exploring herbal medicine for the first time or seeking ongoing support, I invite you to get in touch. Together, we can explore how plant-based remedies may support your wellbeing—physically, emotionally, and seasonally.
